12 Inch launching peel: This 12 inch Pizza Paddle allows for easy removal of a standard 12 inch pizza thanks to its hard anodised, non stick surface. The perforated pizza spatula head encourages pizza to slide off the peel with minimal stickiness, while excess flour is released to avoid burning in the oven. The lightweight and professionally balanced handle features a silicon grip for enhanced control and a tapered edge for simple insertion beneath the pizza base.

9 Inch Turning peel: A turning Peels purpose is to turn and manoeuvre your pizza in reference to its head source. This avoids the pizza cooking unevenly or you having to interrupt the cooking process by removing it from the oven to turn. The light handle and smaller 9 inch head provide you with ultimate manoeuvrability in tight spaces, ensuring the perfect cook every time. The head is pop riveted to increase useable surface area and 360 flat surface.

We understand the importance of getting exactly what you order and that the equipment performs as expected. We’ve only had positive feedback up until now and have actually been using the exact same peel set at home ourselves for over a year without any issues or discolouration, so your experience is certainly not typical. These peels are designed to feel light at hand, so they are easy to manoeuvre when launching and turning your pizza. They are made from food grade high quality, hard anodised aluminium enabling them to be non stick and also handle high temps during launching, to standards many of the peels you refer to on Amazon etc will not meet. Like all aluminium peels in the market, they are not meant to be left in the oven for extended periods of time, so not sure if this is a factor or not, but something to consider.
