 The Shun Classic Blonde 8-in. Chef's Knife is an essential tool for every cook. From preparing fruits and vegetables to prepping proteins, this all-purpose knife is a must-have for the aspiring patio chef. It boasts best of eastern and western knife design with a curved belly for gentle rocking, which produces a very fine mince or chopped herbs, plus a wide blade to keep knuckles off the cutting board. The VG-MAX cutting core and 68 layers of stainless Damascus cladding make the blade wear and corrosion resistant, sharp, and long-lasting. Comfortable for both left and right-handed users, this knife also features a lightweight and balanced full composite tang and durable, beautiful PakkaWood® handle. Handcrafted in Japan, its 16° edge makes it ideal for most tasks, but not for cutting through bones or thick-skinned vegetables.
